Terms of service, in plain words.

These are the terms you agree to when you use Pagefully. They are written to be read. If anything is unclear, write to hello@pagefully.com and a person will answer.

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

Pagefully is made and operated by VI Ventures LLC, a company in Glenview, Illinois, United States (“Pagefully”, “we”, “us”). The service is at pagefully.com.

These terms cover the website, the free preview, your account and everything you do with the service. By using any of them you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy, which explains what we collect and why. If you use Pagefully for a company, you confirm you may agree on its behalf, and “you” means the company too.

2. The service

Pagefully reads your App Store listing, plans custom product pages for it, builds each page’s screenshots from your app’s own screens with new headlines, and, when you approve a page, sends it to App Store Connect through an App Store Connect key you provide. Pro plans also keep pages current when your listing changes, make each page in the other languages of your listing, read your public reviews again weekly, and watch competitors you follow for changes.

Some things Pagefully does not do, on purpose:

  • It never submits a page to Apple for review. Sending a page to App Store Connect creates it there, unsubmitted. You submit it yourself in App Store Connect, and Apple decides whether it goes live.
  • It never touches your default product page, your app binary, your pricing or your in-app purchases, and it never edits or removes a page it did not create.
  • It does not assign keywords to a page. Keyword advice in the product is for you to copy and paste in App Store Connect.
  • It does not yet read Apple’s performance numbers for your pages. The Results screen says so.

Pagefully is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Apple Inc. App Store, App Store Connect, iPhone and iPad are trademarks of Apple Inc.

3. Your account

  • You sign in with a link we email you. There is no password to set. A link works once and expires in an hour.
  • An account is for one person. Each account has one workspace, and there is no way to add other members today. Do not share your sign-in links.
  • Your email address is how we reach you and how you get in. Keep it current: the product cannot change it yet, so write to us if it needs to change.
  • To close your account, write to hello@pagefully.com from the address on the account. We delete it as described in the privacy policy. Pages already in App Store Connect stay as they are.
  • You are responsible for what is done through your account, and for telling us promptly if you think someone else has used it.

4. Your App Store Connect key and your authority

To read your full listing and send pages, Pagefully needs an App Store Connect Team key with the App Manager role. By connecting a key you confirm that:

  • you are the Account Holder of that Apple developer account, or you are authorised by the Account Holder to use the key for the app, and
  • using Pagefully with it is consistent with the Apple Developer Program License Agreement and any other terms you have with Apple.

Under Apple’s agreement, a third party you engage acts on your behalf, and what it does through your account counts as done by you. Pagefully is that kind of service provider: everything it does with your key is done for you, at your request, and you remain responsible to Apple for it. Your relationship with Apple is governed by Apple’s terms, not by these.

With your key Pagefully reads your listing (name, subtitle, description, keywords, promotional text and screenshots, in each language), your existing custom product pages and the keywords assigned to each, and your public App Store reviews. It writes only when you click: the custom product pages you approve, with their screenshots and promotional text, and the languages of a page you have confirmed. It never does anything else at Apple on your behalf.

Your key is encrypted with a key held outside our database before it is stored, is never written to a log, and is never shown again after you add it. You can replace or remove it in Settings at any time; removing it deletes our copy. To switch the key off at Apple, revoke it in App Store Connect under Users and Access, Integrations. Pagefully stops the moment you do, and your published pages stay live.

5. Your content and ours

Your listing, your screenshots, your reviews and the pages made from them are yours. You keep every right in them. So that we can run the service for you, you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to read, copy, store, resize, draw on, translate, display back to you and send to App Store Connect your content, for as long as it is in your account and only to provide the service. We do not use it for anything else, and we never combine one customer’s listing, reviews, pages or results with another’s.

To write headlines, plan pages, translate them and draw screenshots, Pagefully uses machine learning models from third-party providers. Pages are drawn from your real screens; the headlines, lines and drawings we make for you are yours to use as you like, in Pagefully or anywhere else. You are responsible for checking them before you approve a page: a model can be wrong, and you decide what is sent.

The Pagefully site, software, templates, designs, guides and name are ours or our licensors’. These terms give you a right to use the service, not a licence to copy, resell or build on it. If you send us a suggestion, we may use it without owing you anything.

6. Acceptable use

Use Pagefully only for apps you control or are authorised to work on, and only in ways that are lawful. In particular, do not:

  • connect a key, or add an app, that you have no right to use;
  • upload content you do not have the rights to, or make pages that break Apple’s guidelines or the law;
  • try to read, change or reach another customer’s data, or probe the service for weaknesses;
  • scrape the site or the free preview, or use scripts, multiple accounts or other tricks to get around the preview limits, the one free page per app, or any other limit;
  • resell the service, or use it to build a competing one;
  • send abusive or unlawful material through the feedback or report forms.

We may limit or stop use that breaks these rules, and the rate limits in the product are there to keep it working for everyone.

7. Plans, payment and renewal

  • Plans are per app. Each app you add has its own plan: Free, the Pack, or Pro. What each plan includes is on the pricing page and on the app’s Plan screen, which is what applies.
  • Free gives one page for an app and one revision of it, at no charge.
  • The Pack is $49, paid once for one app. It gives 10 pages in total for that app, ever, including the free one and pages later deleted, with 2 revisions of each. It never renews. A second Pack is not sold for the same app, and the Pack is not offered where it would add nothing.
  • Pro is $348 a year or $59 a month for one app, and renews until you cancel. On monthly billing you can make 15 new pages in each billing month; unused ones do not carry over. Yearly billing has no monthly count. Pro covers up to 70 pages for the app, Apple’s own limit.
  • Upgrade credit. If you start Pro within 30 days of buying the Pack for the same app, $49 comes off your first Pro payment, once for that app. Promotion codes cannot be combined with it.
  • What counts. A page counts when it is made. A revision is any send of a page Apple already holds; editing before the first send is free. Rebuilding headlines and screenshots with the model has a fair-use monthly limit on every plan. Where a limit stops something, the product says so.
  • Prices and tax. Prices are in US dollars. Sales tax, VAT or similar is added where it applies. If we change a price, it does not change what you have already paid for, and we tell you before a renewal at a new price.
  • Payment. Payment is taken by Stripe on a hosted checkout page; we never see or store your card. Invoices, receipts, card changes and cancellation are in the billing portal, opened with Manage billing on the app’s Plan screen. If a payment fails, Pro stays on while the card is retried for a few days, then ends.
  • Given plans. We may grant a plan to an app without charge, for testing or goodwill. A granted plan can be withdrawn; anything you paid for is unaffected.

8. Cancelling and refunds

You can cancel Pro at any time in the billing portal. It stays on until the end of the period you have paid for, and is not charged again. When it ends, the app falls to the Pack if it bought one and to Free otherwise. What stops: weekly refreshes, competitor checks, new languages, and new pages beyond what the plan allows. What stays: every page you have sent stays live on the App Store, every page and language in Pagefully stays as it is, and nothing is deleted. The Pack has nothing to cancel.

Refunds are handled on request. Write to hello@pagefully.com with the app and what went wrong, and we will look at it as people, not as a policy: there is no fixed refund policy, and a refund is at our discretion. Nothing here takes away a right to a refund that the law gives you and that cannot be waived.

9. Free preview and free page

Anyone can preview an app’s pages from its public App Store listing, without an account or a key. A preview is made from the public US App Store listing only. To keep the preview open to everyone, it is limited per visitor, using a hashed identifier of your network address and a first-party cookie, and by a daily budget across everyone; when a limit is reached the product says so and offers an account. A preview of an app is kept for 30 days and is shown to anyone who looks up that app in that time, and it is made again when the listing changes. Previews are shown at preview size; full-size files come with a key or a paid plan.

The free page is one per App Store app, across every account and every reconnect: disconnecting and reconnecting an app, or adding it from another account, does not earn another. An account can add one app by name without a key; adding more apps, and sending anything to Apple, needs a key. Where an app’s free page was already made in another account, that account sees the kept page and nothing new is generated until it connects a key or chooses a plan.

10. Apple’s review and no guarantee of results

Whether a page goes live is Apple’s decision, made under Apple’s guidelines, after you submit it in App Store Connect. We check pages against Apple’s published sizes and limits before you send them, but we cannot promise Apple will approve a page, how long review will take, or what Apple will do with its guidelines, its API or its limits.

We also make no promise about results. We do not guarantee that a page will be shown in search or Apple Ads, bring installs, improve conversion, or do anything in particular for your app. Any figures on this site are from the sources they cite and are not a promise about your app.

11. Availability and changes to the service

Pagefully is new and still changing. Features may be added, changed or removed, limits may change, and some things the product mentions are not built yet; the product says “not yet” where that is so. The service may be unavailable at times, for maintenance, because of a provider we rely on, or because of Apple. We will say so where we can, on the site or by email, and we work to keep interruptions short. We may stop offering the service altogether, in which case we will give you reasonable notice and you can take your pages with you: they stay in App Store Connect either way.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted or error-free operation. Headlines, translations and drawings made by models can contain mistakes; you check them before anything is sent. Some places do not allow some of these exclusions, so some may not apply to you.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, VI Ventures LLC and the people who work on Pagefully are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, lost installs or a page’s rejection, arising from or related to the service or these terms, however caused and under any theory of liability, even if we were told such damages were possible.

Our total liability to you for everything arising from or related to the service or these terms is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. If you have paid nothing, that amount is nothing. These limits do not apply where the law does not allow them to, for example for fraud or for liability that cannot be limited.

14. Indemnity

If a claim is made against us because you connected a key or added an app you had no right to use, because of content you uploaded or approved that you had no right to, because a page you approved broke Apple’s guidelines or the law, or because you broke these terms, you will defend us, and cover our losses and reasonable legal costs, in relation to that claim. We will tell you about the claim promptly and let you take the lead in defending it, as long as the defence does not harm us.

15. Termination

  • By you. Stop using the service at any time. Remove your key, disconnect your apps, cancel Pro, or write to us to close the account.
  • By us. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if a payment is overdue, if Apple requires it, or where we must by law. We will tell you why where we can, and give you a chance to put it right where the problem can be put right.
  • What happens. Our copy of your key, your listing, your pages and your account is deleted as the privacy policy describes. Pages already in App Store Connect stay exactly as they are: they are yours, in your Apple account, and you manage them there. Sections 5, 12, 13, 14 and 17 survive the end of these terms.

16. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms as the product changes. When we do, we post the new version here with a new “last updated” date, and for a change that matters we also email the address on your account before it takes effect. Using the service after the date means you accept the new terms. If you do not, stop using the service and write to us to close your account.

17. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute that we cannot settle by talking will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Illinois, and you and we each agree to their jurisdiction. If you are a consumer in a place whose law gives you the right to bring a claim where you live, nothing here takes that away. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. These terms, with the privacy policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about the service.
