Weather app screenshots with a star rating
Stars or a rating figure drawn on the picture. The App Store already shows an app’s rating under its name. Drawing it on a screenshot repeats it at a larger size.
From the top 100 free Weather apps on the US App Store, read on October 9, 2026. Screenshots are the developers’ own, shown from Apple’s servers with a link to each app.

Should my Weather app have App Store screenshots with a star rating?
The chart shows who does it, not whether it would work for your app. 3 of the top ten Weather apps do it (30%), against 10 of the other 90 (11%), so the top ten do it more than the rest. Ten apps is a small group, so read that as a description of this chart and not as a rule.
