Questions, answered from the chart.
How many top Music apps have App Store screenshots with a top-cropped phone?
25 of the top 100 Music apps (25%) have at least one, and 26 of their 550 screenshots (5%) do it. Counted from the US App Store’s top free chart on October 9, 2026.
Which Music apps have App Store screenshots with a top-cropped phone?
In the top ten: SoundCloud: The Music You Love (#4) and BandLab – Music Maker & Beats (#8). Further down the chart: DICE: Live Shows (#19), SiriusXM: Music, Sports & News (#20), Simply Sing: My Singing App (#23), Piano: Keyboard Lessons & Game (#24) and Edjing Mix: DJ Music Mixer App (#28), and 18 more.
Should my Music app have App Store screenshots with a top-cropped phone?
The chart shows who does it, not whether it would work for your app. 2 of the top ten Music apps do it (20%), against 23 of the other 90 (26%), so the top ten do it about as often as the rest. Ten apps is a small group, so read that as a description of this chart and not as a rule.
