What the words in the app mean: listing, intent, page, screenshot, revision, refresh, send, submit.
ReferenceUpdated
The words Pagefully uses, each in a sentence or two, with the article that covers it. The app uses one name for each thing: a page is a page, a screenshot is a screenshot, a page is sent to App Store Connect and submitted only to Apple’s review.
Your app and its listing
Listing
Your App Store page as Apple holds it: name, subtitle, description, keyword field and screenshots, in each language. Pagefully reads it and shows what it understood on the Listing screen. See The Listing screen.
Keyword field
The 100 characters of keywords your app has in App Store Connect, per language. A page shows in search only for keywords from this field. See Keyword advice on the Listing.
Refresh
Reading your listing and reviews again. Refresh listing does it when you ask, on any plan. On Pro it happens every week, and pages are redrawn when your screens change. See Refresh your pages after an app update.
Competitor
An app people choose between and yours. You follow it, and its public listing and reviews are read to find pages you are missing. Its name never appears on a page a store customer reads. See Follow competitors.
Preview
The three pages planned for any app from the home page, one of them designed on its own screenshots, with no account. See Preview pages for your app.
Pages
Custom product page
Apple’s feature: another version of your App Store page with its own screenshots and promotional text, up to 70 per app. See What are custom product pages?
Page
One custom product page, planned, built and sent in Pagefully. On the Intents screen a page is a card; on Pages it is its screenshots. The app never calls it an intent, a plan or a draft.
Intents
The screen where pages are planned: one page for each reason someone comes to your app, with its keywords. See Plan your pages on the Intents screen.
Problem, Feature, Competitor
The three kinds of page, the columns on Intents. A Problem page leads with what the searcher wants fixed, a Feature page with what the app does, a Competitor page is for people who know another app and want something better.
Suggested page
A page Pagefully offers from your reviews or a competitor’s, marked Suggested, with Add page and Dismiss. Nothing is built until you add it.
Ads and links
A page with no keyword from your field. It does not show in search; it is the page an Apple Ads ad group leads to, or a link you share.
Screenshot
One picture on a page, drawn from one of your app’s real screens with a headline written for the page’s search. A page holds up to 10.
Headline
The words set above the screen on a screenshot, 45 characters at most, with an optional line under it of up to 70. Change it with Edit words. See Edit a page.
Device size
The sizes a page is drawn in: iPhone 6.9", iPhone 6.5" and iPad 13". Apple fits the rest. Edits apply to every size. See Screenshot sizes.
Rebuild, redraw
A page is built and rebuilt; one screenshot is redrawn. Rebuilds are counted each month on your plan; editing a headline yourself is not one. See Plan limits.
Language
A page in another language of your listing, written and drawn by itself on Pro, and sent only after you confirm it on the page. See Pages in other languages.
Approving, sending and submitting
Approve
Your click that a page may go to App Store Connect: Approve page on a page, or Approve all ready. Any later edit withdraws it. See Build and review pages.
Send to App Store Connect
The click on Publish that creates an approved page in App Store Connect with its screenshots and promotional text. The app never says sync, upload or publish. See Approve a page and send it.
In App Store Connect
The status of a sent page: in App Store Connect, not yet submitted for review. You can look at it there and take it back from here.
Product page ID
The id Apple gives a page when it is made in App Store Connect. Shown on Publish and in the page editor once the page is there.
Take back
Deletes a sent page from App Store Connect, with its languages. The page stays approved in Pagefully, so you can change it and send it again. Only a page not yet submitted can be taken back. See Take back a sent page.
Submit for review
Sending a page to Apple’s review. This happens in App Store Connect, by you, never from Pagefully. See Submit a page for review.
Revision
Any send of a page Apple has held before, whether or not anything changed. Free gives each page 1, the Pack 2, Pro as many as you like. Editing before the first send is free.
Account and plans
Workspace
Your account’s home for its apps. One account has one workspace, with one member. Each app in it has its own plan. See Switch between apps.
App Manager key
An App Store Connect Team key with the App Manager role. It lets Pagefully read your listing and send pages you approve. It is encrypted before it is stored and never shown again. See What the key can and cannot do.
Issuer ID, Key ID
The two ids that go with the key file. The Issuer ID is shown above your list of keys in App Store Connect, one per team; the Key ID is in the key’s row and in the file’s name. See Connect App Store Connect.
Free, Pack, Pro
The three plans, per app. Free makes 1 page; the Pack is $49 once for 10 pages; Pro is $29 a month billed yearly or $59 monthly, for up to 70 pages kept current. See Plans explained.
Free page
The one page Free makes, sent to App Store Connect and yours to keep. One per App Store app, across every account. See What the free plan includes.
The weekly note
One email a week for each app on Pro: how your pages did and the pages worth adding next. Turn it off in Settings. See Emails and notifications.
